Over 600 resale flats listed since pilot launch of new HDB service

More than 600 resale flats have been listed directly on the HDB Flat Portal since the resale flat listing service was soft-launched on 13 May.
Officially launched on Thursday, the service allows prospective flat buyers and their appointed property agents to browse listings and transact directly with sellers or sellers' agents.
Sellers can continue to list and market their flats independently through the service, or appoint property agents to manage their listings on their behalf.
Meanwhile, property agents can utilise a personalised dashboard on the HDB Flat Portal to manage their clients' activities.
HDB said this will help agents focus on providing value-added services for their clients, such as guidance on budgeting and next steps. It also advised prospective buyers to plan their finances carefully and exercise financial prudence when purchasing a home to avoid overstretching their budget.
The Board noted that the service aims to create a transparent, reliable, and trusted resale marketplace for sellers, buyers, and property agents alike.
